THE HARD TRUTH

There was a discussion in a group on how to improve the political system in Ghana, OK NEWS was present  and one soldier from the CODE57 family said,

In my view, a great chunk of the problems or challenges we have or face in Ghana today is as result of lack of trust and confidence in certain people. Let me explain.

Many young people in Ghana, have come to the reality, that NPP and NDC have both done more harm to us than good. But the question is, with the great power and wealth members of these 2 parties have amassed for a long time now, doubts have been created in the minds of people that there can be an alternative. They have been hit by the sad reality of NPP and NDC, but they are simply not confident in any alternative.

Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum, for example, has been running for president since time immemorial in this country.  He comes out with excellent manifestos in each election,  but loses at the end.

The youth of Ghana today, know we have a problem, but the solution to the problem is scary to them. They feel insecure to support any small group because at the end of the day, they believe NPP and NDC will still emerge victorious.

U may do a simple poll, if u doubt all that I'm saying; just get 10 random people and ask them, whether one day NPP and NDC will be casted out. U are likely to be told it's not possible.

We must attack the insecurity, lack of confidence in alternatives and lack of trust our youths have, then we can win them. One way to win their confidence is to do little things right, and they will entrust into our hands, bigger things (Ghana) with hope.
