HONOURING OUR FALLEN SOLDIERS

28th of every February is a public day in Ghana because, that was when three soldiers namely; Sargeant Adjetey, Corporal Attipoe and Private Odartey Lamptey were killed during a protest along the Christianborg road where the shooting incident occurred.

On the 28th of February 2023, Commissioner Dr. Albert Botchwey lead some scout groups to the burial grounds of one of the three soldiers who were shot that's Sgt. Adjetey.

It is alleged that the body of the other two were thrown into the sea by the colonial masters at that time.

The scouts were there to pay their respects to the family and helped the family in setting up the place for the ceremony.

Some groups and schools also came to pay their last respect and listen to what happened to Ex-Sgt. Adjetey.

Present was the Bishop of the Adjetey family, De Blessing Foundation and one senior officer from the La Dade Kotopon Municipal office.

The ceremony ended with the various groups who came to mourn the fallen hero taken pictures with the Adjetey family.
