"AN OFFICE CAN WORK WITHOUT THE BOSS, BUT NOT WITHOUT THE SECRETARY" - Jane Fonda

"Fellow Professionals,

I am NTONI EMMANUELLA AKYEMAH, a third-year Business Administration Student at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

The Role of a secretary in building a strong Student Representative Council (SRC), is mostly downplayed as most people lack the knowledge of the relevance of the secretary. There is a famous quote which says that, the secretary is always the first to report and the last to leave. This quote explains the vastness of the role of the secretary in ensuring consistency, adherence to set goals, order and a lot more.

Ever since my fresher days in the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), I have taken leadership roles in many social organizations on campus just to be useful to students and the University at large.

Serving as the senate deputy speaker of the Association of Business Administration students (ABAS) was a great opportunity for me to learn more about leadership.

Nevertheless, my greatest passion will be put forth to be competed for during the SRC elections 2023.

It is for this reason that I, NTONI EMMANUELLA AKYEMAH deem it fit to respectfully and unconditionally announce to you my intentions on vying for the SRC SECRETARY portfolio for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

I pledge to dedicate myself to the service of students.

I therefore seek your undiluted support in my bid of serving our Council in the capacity as the administrative head ( SECRETARY).

I promise to serve you to the best of my ability in truth and with passion.

The Centre of the SRC must Hold and it’ll be possible if you all rally your support behind me.

Join me let’s REVAMP,REJUVENATE and RESTORE the SRC."
