MINORITY MPS BOYCOTT 2020 STATE OF THE NATIONS ADDRESS

Minority Members of Parliament (MPs) have walked out of Parliament boycotting the presentation of the 2020 State of the Nations Address (SOTN) which is yet to be presented by the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The MPs who were mainly clad in black attire left the chamber after the President walked into the chamber.
The Minority MPs left the chamber singing ‘away away’ to signify their unpreparedness to watch the President deliver the address.
They left on their seats various placards expressing their grievances.
The placards were picked up and tore into pieces by a worker in the house.
