‘’My attention has been drawn to a malicious and misleading article making rounds on some online tabloids and others on social media platforms with the caption UPSA SRC President suspended over questionable transactions.

I want to assure all the good students of UPSA that every SRC expenditure went through GA for approval and all necessary documents needed for accountability has made available, you cannot spend SRC money without GA’s approval,the Dean of student and the school Finance Directors approval it not possible and I will edge you all to disregard and treat the matter with the contempt it deserves,the action by the speaker and some selected GA members first of all was unconditional and politically motivated by some coward jobless TEIN members in and out of campus just to tarnish my reputation because of my remarkable display of competence and delivery of quality service to the students body ,GA has no power to suspend any SRC official let alone the SRC President the commander in Chief of UPSA SRC,the only organ within the SRC who has the power to suspend any SRC official is the Higher chamber GA has no Locus to suspend any SRC official.
It’s however clear that the Speaker has shown gross disregard and disrespect to the Higher Chamber and has undermined the SRC constitution for luck of understanding of the SRC constitution hence misconducting himself,its clear he doesn’t know his Job as a speaker and proven incapable of handling the office of speaker.

I have petitioned the Higher chamber in order to rectify the unconditionality perpetuated by the speaker of GA and the necessary sanctions spelt out in the constitution will be given to the speaker if found guilty ,to serve as precedence to check abuse of power by SRC officials and protect the sanctity of the SRC constitution,I have also made a formal complaint to the cyber crime unit of the police against the bloggers who published the defamatory story against me I will ensure that justice be served.
Ordinarily I would not comment on such trivialities but as an avowed advocate of standard administrative principles I deem it fit to address the students populace with civility which is the basic norm of our noble University.
I wish to remind the authors of the said article that the University of Professional Studies remains a higher grounds for academic excellence and moral citadel. It is for that reason the school has won a lot of accolades. Therefore its students are expected to at all times maintain a higher level of Professionalism.
Fellow Colleagues and friends, The Students Representative Council (SRC) Constitution mandates the President to at periodic times present an account to the General Assembly on expenses and programs where deem appropriate.
It is in accordance to this constitutional provision that I have presented myself to account for my stewardship for the first Academic Semester which I have done and so to call am emergency GA just to carry out a diabolic agenda is rather unfortunate ,but posterity will surely Judge.
I wish to implore the students to stay calm and make time to attend the hearings of the Higher chamber of UPSA SRC ,I will continue to serve you with honesty and humility.’’
